Silly Sayings

There are so many silly sayings at this stage in the game. Ella is really into asking questions before she explores something new. For instance, when she's about to try a new food, she'll say, "You like talapia? You like it a lot or a real little bit?" Well, I had to laugh aloud today when she was trying to eat an interesting shaped piece of lettuce in her salad. "Hey Daddy? You like lettuce? Okay. Well maybe we could eat lettuce toget-ter sometime. Okay?"

Christmas in Buffalo

We went home to Buffalo for Christmas. It was such a blast seeing our family & friends. The kids had fun playing with their 5 cousins from PA, plus we had the opportunity to be home just in time for the arrival of my brother Justin's daughter, Olivia Addison, born on Christmas Eve! We decided to take the scenic route through Vermont (about 45 miles shorter in distance, but about 40 minutes longer in time). The ride was beautiful but long (with stops, it took us 10 hrs). The ride home only took us 8.5 hours though, so we were happy!
