Our Little Man

Well, it's March; and Gavin will be 4 months old next month. Yikes! Where is the time going? He's such a lovable little man. Seriously, I think he might be the most easy going baby ever. He really finds Gray & Ella to be fascinating creatures. In fact, whenever it's time to nurse him, they've become quite the distraction. Sometimes he'd rather watch them be silly than eat his yummy meal from his mama. Anyway, here's a shot of what Gavin looked like today. Handsome little guy, if I might say so myself. Jeff & I definitely think that Gavin is a good mix of Ella & Gray: Ella's eyes/nose/mouth & Gray's bulky mass. So much fun!

Signs that Someone Might Be Feeling Better

Both boys are asleep. Ella and I are still sick until, suddenly, Ella gets a little of herself back. She jumps down from the table (where she began to do some coloring & dot-connecting, which she loves to do); she returns from her quest with a scarf around her neck and her winter hat on her head. Singing some crazy-creative made-up songs, she continues her artistic pursuits. Well, like any camera-happy mama, I grabbed ol' Canon and shot away. But every time I went to take a picture of my smiling daughter, this is what I got. That little stinker pie......might be starting to feel better. And with joy and laughter I can thank God for that!

Power Outage and a House Full of Sickies

Well, for over 2 weeks now we've been battling high fevers, rough coughs, pukage, runny noses, and double ear infections. And to top it off, we had a giant wind storm that swept over our area leaving more than 300,000 people without power. Of course, it had to be the day that Jeff was at work. We, though sick, managed just fine. What a blessing for me especially because Ella & Gav slept mostly (they both have double ear infections) while Gray ran around the house playing football and soccer (great way to keep warm!). Here are some glimpses of my kiddos:
