Looking Back At October: Part 2

October was a beautiful month here in the Valley. The landscape everywhere boomed with vibrant colors of crimson, golden ochres, and rusted-orange hues; tie that in with a brilliant blue sky and Voila! A true work of art by the Creator Himself! We took advantage of the beautiful outdoors and visited a local farm/apple orchard/pumpkin patch.
The kids had fun picking out their pumpkins, running around the orchard, playing in the playhouses, feeding the goats & geese (while I watched . . . and prayed for courage, as I pretty much hate goats and geese, for they scare the ba-jeebers out of me, especially with the creepy goat pupils, all weird in their vertical direction). What a blast we had! I just love everything about the Fall!

Slippery Time (Looking Back at October: Part 1)

Yikes! It's been FOREVER since I've last posted! So much has happened, as you can imagine! Only ten days until Christmas and I still haven't posted much about October or November, or even December for that matter!!! Now, where was I? Oh yes, I remember now. In mid-October the Snyders visited us at our new home. Campfires, Kids, Chaos & Togetherness. We are blessed to have family, and to now be only 3-4 hrs away from the Snyders as opposed to 8-9 is an added bonus for us all.
