Easter Festivities Part 3: The Great Outdoor Egg Hunt

After church we took the kids outside for their very first Easter Egg Hunt. It was sure cold outside (the wind chill was bone-chilling!), but that didn't stop us! The kids loved it! Gray kept shouting "EGG!!" with eyebrows raised high and chocolate on his face, while Ella squealed with delight. Once all the eggs were collected, we gathered indoors to see what was inside the little plastic eggs. And what was inside the eggs you wonder? Stretchy rubber worm/snake toys (Grayson loves these things), jelly beans and peanut m&ms (more chocolate). We have to say that Easter egg hunts outside are so much fun! Ella talked about it much of the day. It was such a memorable day. We are so grateful for our family and for Jesus, who gave His life for us. We are truly blessed and forever grateful.

Hey my friend....you are on a blogging roll...I can't even keep up with you. Love all the egg pictures...we were so terrible..no egg hunt and no egg coloring this year...I really need to make it up to the boys next year. For some reason we always have early service nursery duty on Easter Morning so there is not time for any fun activities. The kids are getting so big - the boys really want to see Grayson for some reason..he is the "baby" that they always reference but he is not quite a "baby" anymore....miss you lots.
