Ella's First Ballet Recital

Father's Day weekend was such a memorable and very special experience for us all.  Grandma & Papa came down to visit & attend Ella's first ballet recital with us.  The performance was amazing and very professional! I was expecting a cheesey little kids' act but boy, was I wrong! Though the littlest kids were indeed adorable, the older ballerinas were just breath-taking.  The performance was held at a classy little theater about 20 minutes away.  Ella's class did "The Dolly Dance" and each girl was dressed as Raggedy Ann; there was even a little boy dressed as Raggedy Andy! Too cute.  The recital was Friday night and Sunday afternoon.

In between showtimes we all had fun swimming in the pool, going out to eat by the river and hanging out together.  Gray and Papa also had fun working on Gray's new John Deere mini gator tractor that Papa brought.  It's always a blast when you guys come!
