Christmas 2010

Christmas was so fun. Going to church on Christmas Eve was just amazing. The service was packed with people, amazing music & a story of God' s lovefor us; at times it was difficult to sing the songs as many got "choked up". We are truly grateful for Jesus and for all that He has done.

On the way way home, we were greeted by tiny glowing
lights - our street lines the road with paper lanterns every Christmas Eve; the pics don't do them any justice, but in person it was a magical experience.

And then there was
Christmas morning! The long awaited day!
The sky at sunrise
boasted of Jesus' birth! The kids woke up with
such joyful hearts! It was a Christmas filled with love, laughter, joyful kids playing with new GI Joes, princesses, Littlest Pet Shop, Polly Pocket, trains, cars, lac
rosse, art-making stuff, and an ipod touch, for me (THANK YOU DARLING!! :0) The only thing missing on Christmas was having our family near, but we were blessed to have Opa & Oma join us just after Christmas & before New Year's. What a blast we had with them! From hanging out & watching movies, playing with the kids to going sledding in our own backyard, we had a blast! Come back soon Oma & Opa!
